From relaxed introductions to deep, demanding logic, every puzzle is designed to reward careful reasoning. We are the only app to feature the massive 14x14, 3-star grid for the ultimate logic test.

Based on the classic Eight Queens variant, the rules are simple:
- Place the required number of stars in every row, column, and outlined region
- Ensure no two stars touch, not even diagonally
- Use logic to eliminate cells and place stars with certainty

All puzzles are rigorously tested to ensure they are solvable without guessing.

Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal at the same price as the initial month within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase or using the “Manage Subscriptions” link. There is no free trial.

Hints are less tempting if the button isn't there, plus it is helpful to turn off hints if you've been hitting the button by mistake. Also fixes a couple of rare crashes.

A new rotation feature lets you rotate the board to view it from a different orientation. After watching friends turn their device to get another view of their puzzle, we realized we could build that right in!

Finally, we added a couple of tips. First, if you tap three dots in a row, it will suggest using the drag feature (it's always been there, just not widely known!). Second, it will let you know if you've found a 1 star solution to a 2 star puzzle (or a 1 or 2 star solution to a 3 star puzzle), since this was causing some support emails about "I found a new solution but it isn't recognized!"
